Walk in Surgery
Every weekday morning we provide a walk-in
Between 8:30am and 10:30am you can simply attend the surgery and request to be seen by a Doctor.
At other times you can be seen by prior appointment.
Disease Management Clinics
We offer clinics for patients with Asthma, Chronic Lung Disease,
Diabetes, Heart Disease and High Blood Pressure.
These are with the Practice Nurses by prior appointment.
Travel Advice and Vaccinations
We offer advice and vaccinations for those travelling abroad by
prior appointment with a Practice Nurse.
We would appreciate the completion of a travel form which can be emailed or dropped in at the surgery and the nurse will get back to you with advice or to discuss an appointment time.
Our Healthcare Assistant offers advice and monitoring to help you
manage your weight.

Well Person Checks
Any patient can request a Well Person Check with our Healthcare Assistant.
This will comprise a Blood Pressure check, weight and height measurement
and calculation of your Body Mass Index along with general health and lifestyle advice.
Where appropriate further tests such as cholesterol and diabetes screening may be arranged.
Exercise on prescription, smoking cessation, alcohol counselling and weight management can be arranged if needed.
We offer a comprehensive range of Family Planning services including
contraceptive pill advice/initiation
and referral for vasectomy and sterilisation if appropriate Please

Minor Surgical procedures such as removal of minor skin lesions, cryotherapy (freezing) of warts and joint injections can all be performed within the surgery. Please see a GP for details and assessment of suitability.
If you have been advised to have a blood test, please see our phlebotomist.

Non NHS Work
The Practice does provide some services which are not currently provided under the NHS, these services do attract a fee.

Our doctors, nurses and healthcare assistants are all able to offer smoking cessation
advice but we also host a specialist smoking cessation clinic on Friday morning on a drop-in basis.

Healthcare Assistant as well as specialist alcohol workers.

We have a specialist alcohol worker who works in practice every Tuesday.
We have an open access clinic from 10 am til 1pm.
However, if you would prefer an appointment please ask at reception, appointments run from 2 pm - 4 pm every Tuesday.
A range of counselling and mental health services are provided on site by referral from GPs.
